Development

This year we continued to tackle issues at the heart of poverty and empowered more communities to become self-reliant. We provided access to healthcare, education, water and sanitation and provided livelihood opportunities, delivering 237 development projects which served over 1.9 million people.

Our development programmes are not just about providing access to essential services – they are also focused on understanding the multiple challenges communities face and supporting them to lift themselves out of poverty.
