The programme provides a regular stipend to families for children\u2019s education, medical and other needs. Born with intellectual disabilities, Remaz also lives with epilepsy and paralysis. She lives with her two sisters and mother, Hanan, who has been the family\u2019s sole breadwinner since her husband died 14 years ago. Though Hanan works hard as a laundress and cleaner, the little she earns is not enough to provide for her children. However the support she receives through Islamic Relief helps to cover the costs of Remaz\u2019s medical care and has allowed her sisters to continue their education.
